The Journey
CAMBODIA
CAMBODIA CCPP Art - NGO. Cambodia holds a special place in my heart and was an experience of a lifetime. Having initially come to this project as a volunteer, I eventually ended up at as it’s director. Having a love of abstract, it was only natural that I introduce it to the students.
MEXICO
In Mural San Miquel de Allende , Mexico. I was fortunate to work with Mexican Artists on a historic tableau of the city. I created my own spiritual animal, the Alebrijes for the mural, leaving a piece of myself in Mexico. In Salulita I worked with a local school to create murals on the school fence. Mexico is rich in art and culture and was an inspiration .
VANCOUVER
Vancouver was a new beginning for myself and my creative journey. Expanding my art into new avenues of expression and in unexpected directions. I became a fashion designer and had success on the runway and in Zines. It has been the first time in my life that I’ve had the opportunity to create full time .
EVERYWHERE ELSE that’s shaped my vision
My life has been an adventure and I’ve had the good fortune to travel and experience other cultures along my journey. My art is a reflection of my experiences and connections made along the road.
